First... We moved in to a new house that we are absolutely in love with. I will not lie, a huge part of my heart remains in Utah and always will. And after Zayne's last surgery episode I told Andy I will give Bozeman one year. But there is something to be said about good health care, THERAPY, and having access to necessities when you have a little one who needs a little extra help. With that being said I am so happy to be where we are at. It is so peaceful and calming, although we may lose Zayne once in awhile. And.. he can get into way more shenanigans than in the condo. As in tonight we had friends visiting and our friend Courtney's husband goes "Do you always allow him to go down the stairs like that?" and we look and Zayne is going down the stairs head first! Tonight that is his new thing!! He actually tried to barrel roll down the stairs and Courtney's daughter (11 years old) caught him and then he tried to do a somersault head first from the top step and I caught him by his belt loops. When I say it's insanity here, I am not exaggerating at all. Another comment from Kit tonight "Wow!!! Our kids were never that agile. (as Zoe is climbing the end of the bunk beds to get up and skipping the ladder).Speaking of insanity, it really is craziness all day long, survival! And they have quickly figured out that I am out number. And I am most certain they left their ears in the NBICU. It's hard work, it's tiring, and exhausting, and sometimes I do need a break. And no, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I am more than grateful and thankful that this is what I get to do, that I get to stay at home with these 3 crazies of ours. Maybe it's PTSD, frustration, over-tired-sleepless-night Mama bear, call it what you want, but I have become a bit bitter and sensitive to the comments "Oh, I totally get it, Oh, I so know what you mean, Oh, I totally understand, etc...etc." Unless you have triplets (you have me beat, and bless your heart) you don't get it, you can't understand, and you don't know what I mean. Okay, maybe you do as a Mom you have a slight understanding, and get what I am going through... But then (please do imagine) x it by 3!! And then add in one who needs extra help medically (I hate the term special needs)
And then my next favorite. When I am having a tough day, or struggling, or just need a break (I know I have posted this before but, it never ends). I love how everyone loves to remind you that "it goes so fast," "you are going to miss these days," "Soon, you will wish you could still spend you days in your jammies with them," "enjoy this time before you know it, it's gone." I KNOW, I KNOW!! I don't need to be reminded nor do I like to be reminded. I simply have chosen to enjoy this moment, this time, this day, this stage they are in and enjoy it now. But when I do have a bad day, when I do feel frustrated, when I do have tears, and this is what I am reminded, all it does is make me feel guilty, feel like a bad Mom because I am short with them, because I yelled at them, or simply because I said the words "I need a break." I am/we (ALL MAMAS) are well aware that this precious time goes all to fast. Stop.Reminding.US! Let us enjoy this time, these moments, these days! Let them be little, our littles.

What else, what else?? Oh, here ya go.. I am not sure their are many who follow this blog who wouldn't know this but the Montana parent magazine did an article on us and our story. It was nice to share our story, to share our hope, and give others hope. Here is the link. http://reader.mediawiremobile.com/MontanaParent/issues/107491/viewer?page=39

| So Precious. |
Update: She is trying her hardest to walk and is taking steps. She has started to babble the last couple days and it's the cutest thing. She continues to be the master of the bear crawl. Can sign "more," loves to chuckle, even at herself. She wears 12 month clothes but it won't be long before she is out of those. Loves to snuggle. Oh, and she can make a chicken noise which is great. And Loves, food but really loves ice cream.
The twins.. Oh the twins. They are doing great. Overall we are really blessed with how well the 3 of them are. They are such good kids. Every where we go people comment on how good they are. And we are well aware that it could be 10x worse. The twins are great. Their own little people. They sign a ton "More" is their favorite to sign. Zoe can do all her animal sounds and has the cutest little rooster sound you have ever heard. Zayne can do his also and if he can't do the animal sound he is sure to sign it. They are starting to talk. Zoe can say everyone's name, assuring us that her name is "Zo-Zo," and Ziah is "Za-Za." Zayne can say lots also, pot-e (potty), Mil (as he signs Milk), maddie, Klyde. Mama. They both say socks, shoes, hat. Oh, and funny story. I made Zayne a new hat the other day and the colors are green and yellow (John Deer) the yellow is more mustard. As I am finishing Zayne's hat in the am. Zoe looks at the yellow yarn, touches is a bit, and say "no po-po." I guess I know how she feels about his hat.

We recently had a significant amount of water damage in our house. I guess now we can look back and chuckle a bit. But we definitely could of done without this episode in our life. I am ready for a little break. I was so proud of myself as I took all 3 of the kiddos out of the house and went to the trout hatchery, and did fall photos with one of my friends (proud.. thinking I am saving money). I come home to find that the kiddos must of snuk in the bedroom while I was getting ready to go and they ever so quietly turned on the bathroom facet and it ran on the floor for nearly 4 hours (and yes our doors have locks, these 2 are little wizards). So that's been fun. The drying out part was insanity. The industrial fans are pure insanity. At one point when the guys who are fixing the place were over they asked if we wanted or needed to get out. As the guy put it "white noise is one thing but this is white noise on steroids x10."
Anyways- As I mentioned before I started this blog a month ago. It's now October 18. I need to finish it or I will never get caught up. I already feel guilty that little Miss Ziah didn't get her own Birthday Blog. :( So What has all happened since the last blog post when the twins turned two.
August 5th- Moved into our new house (Thanks to our Family and Friends who were here to help)
August 12th- Andy's Aunt Connie and Grandma Lorraine came to visit and we had a blast. It was Lorraine's 1st time meeting Miss Ziah
August 20th- Andy and I celebrated 5 years (See that deserves it's own blog post also).
August 21st- My Birthday
August 26th- I was able to pull off a Garage Sale.
September 7th- Zayne pee'd on the potty for the first time. He is getting good at it and loves to clap and show how proud he is each time. (Zoe will sit on the pot-e but really has no interest)
September 8th- Kiddos got their haircut in a salon. (I have cut it one other time, well I have cut Zayne's twice now). Again, this deserves it's own blog post.
September 14th- Our little Cupcake turned 1! *20.6 pounds and 29 inches
Zayne weighs 23 almost 24 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches
Zoe is probably 24.5 pounds and 34 inches
We also have gone on a hike or two, snuk out for a beer with our friend Tim who came to visit (he also worked on cleaning my house), Oh...we got chickens, that's rather exciting as we are getting about 4 eggs a day. One chicken turned into a rooster so we had to bring that one back. Which, the kids love going to the farm and getting to see 'Grandma Deb (Maddie's Grandma)' and all the farm animals, and help out with the chores. This past weekend we made it to a pumpkin patch also. So, like I always say... It's never a dull moment.
