August 2nd, 2016: Today was a special day. Fast, crazy, chaotic and special all in one. The twins turned two today. 2 turning 2 on the 2nd. Their Golden Birthday! It's so crazy and so chaotic at all times, most times I don't even have a chance to breath, let alone pee (literally, sometimes I ask myself "hmm, I wonder when I peed last) or take even a sip of water.
We are in the process of Moving (maybe we are crazy), just adding more to the insanity and chaos. I wasn't going to have a party for them on their actual Birthday. I was going to wait until we got settled in our new house. But then... Mom GUILT took over (you all know about that right). So a party it was (a small one) with friends playing in the back yard and in the pool and at the water table. It was a lot of fun and they deserve to be Celebrated, so I embraced the chaos.
They got some great gifts. Text messages from a few of their primaries. Friends visiting. Phone calls, etc. They were even extra nice to me today and crawled up in the rocker, the 2 of them and rocked with me and they both took a nap there. Even though I had lots and lots to do, I took in that moment, snuggling my two little babies.
Somehow we are going to survive this week. I look forward to next week. Being in our new house. There is a sense of peace and calming, I think it's going to be good. If anything the kids have a lot more room to run crazy.

| As good of a "together pic" as I will get. |
What are they up too? Zoe weighs in at 24 pounds and is 32 inches. Zayne 22 pounds and 31 inches. They love to take their diapers off now which is not fun for us at all. Zayne say "Hi" and "uh-oh" Zoe says "uh-oh." They sign a lot: More, please, thank-you, sorry, milk, horse, deer, on, dog, eat, drink, bath (I am sure there is more). Zoe is getting better at signing sorry as she has been in time-out more. She likes to bite. They are destructive. The other day I bought Zayne clear markers to go with this coloring deal, instead of coloring he bit all the tips of the markers off. They babble up a storm in their own language, making new plans daily. They love to test their boundaries. They love to dance, every morning! They love to be outside. They love to help their sister, "Za-Za."
Favorite Color: Zoe = Green Zayne = Blue
Toy: Zoe = Stroller, CD player Zayne = Blender top
Food: Zoe = Spaghetti Zayne = Ice cream bites
Book: Zoe = The Crown Upon Your Head Zayne = I'm not sleepy
Song: Zoe = Banana Boat Song (Day O) Zayne = Happy
So, that's life in our world. I promised myself I would get a post up tonight. Staying on top of it. Pray for my sanity this next week. #ibelieveinthegoodthingscoming.
"Enjoy the little things for one day you will wake up and realize they are the big things." (that's why I blog. To look back on these precious little moments.)
