Luck of the Irish...Do you ever get down?

March 17, 2015: Anyone who knows us knows we love holidays... I just love having an excuse to dress in something fun. St. Patty's day is always a fun one. Plus, I think I may just have a little Irish in me ;) Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Ron sent Z&Z the cutest little outfits so I was excited to get to put them on them.

Honestly, Does it get any cuter!
Zayne also received a special package in the mail. I got the package in the mail and it was address to Zayne. I opened it and quickly realized that it was from friends of Andy's. So, I sealed it back up so that he could open it. Andy got home and open the package, I could see the emotion in his face and eyes as he read the card and looked at the check. First Andy and I got green tye-dyed T-shirts made by Andy's good friend from Jamestown, Megan Fossum (Yeah, we now had something fun to wear for St. Patrick's Day). But, there was also a card with a note from Andy's friend Larry A.K.A "Knobby." He is in charge of the Jamestown  Pub Run Fundraiser that they hold on St. Patrick's day. Every year they donate the money to a charity. This year they choose to Donate the money to us. It was quite the surprise, and a bit emotional for Andy to feel the love and support from his home town. Much love to Jamestown and those who donated to this event.

I have a feeling family photos will always look like this, there will always be one not cooperating!

March 21, 2015:  I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I put it one my calendar with much excitement awaiting. We found out back in January when we saw our good friends 'Jon Wayne and the Pain' play here in Utah that they were coming back in March to play in Park City at "The Canyons" with one of our favorite bands 'Medicine for the People.' When I found this out, I said "there is no way I am missing that again." Nahko was here this summer to play in Park City, It was in July, so I was on bedrest. I was quite bummed out that I couldn't go, but I was almost as excited, as if I were going, that Andy got to go.

So, we planned for this day. We got a baby sitter for Zayne (I even consider taking him with). One of his primaries Hailey, was more than thrilled to spend her Saturday spending the day with her favorite little man. Zayne is for sure a UTE fan as Hailey and him watch the NCAA Basketball tournament while she danced and taught him the UTE song. And, Zayne appropriately dress in his UTE gear just for Hailey. They won!

Andy, Zoe and I headed to The Canyons ski resort in Park City on Saturday. The drive up there was is so pretty, this was my 3rd time going up there. We hadn't even got there or heard the bands and I already told Andy, "this is my best day in SLC, thus far."

We watched Jon Wayne and the Pain play. Andy went to school with Jon. I am guessing we have seen these guys play somewhere between 30-35 times, maybe more. We have become good friends with them. I have to honestly say this was one of the best JWP shows that I have seen. There were so many people at this show. And can I say what a trooper little miss Zoe is. This is here second time seeing JWP and this one was outdoors and more festival like. She LOVES it. Teaching them young!
Andy and I brought a picture with that we took while I was one bedrest. We listen to a lot of Medicine for the People, honestly I believe it helped keep our heads clear, gave us inspiration, and hope. We used this quote a lot "I believe in the good things coming..." It kept us going. I brought this picture with in hopes to get Mr. Nahko Bear to sign it. He came  out and did a song with JWP when he was done, Andy said "now is your chance to get it signed." So, we quickly made our way through the crowd, Zoe in tote in her carrier, to the back of the stage just in time to catch him...and he signed in willing "Blessed, <3 Bear!" My day was complete!

Nahko opened with a solo performance playing the keyboard. He started out playing a song that Andy and I listened to all the time, a lot during Zayne's toughest days. We thought he was actually going to sing the whole thing but he transition into a different one. I have never been to any show that I have had the feelings I did during this one. (I know it sounds weird) But, when he started this song I looked at Andy and said "I am going to cry." Maybe I am emotional but his music moves you, and it does something to you, and it has a lot of meaning to me after all we have been through. Even though Andy said "I hate to say, but they were better in July." This was probably one of the best shows I have been too! and Nahko himself said "This is probably the biggest crowd we have played for." Can't wait for the next show!
Festival Friend in training!

I love the amount of people who come and tell us "Good job, Don't stop doing what you love," when they see us there with Zoe.

Hey Guys, "I know the band."

Chuck!

Mr. Jon Wayne! I actually got a bit emotional for Jon when he got to join Nahko on the stage!

Just a bit of the crowd

Mr. Nahko Bear himself!

Family! Zayne so you will experience this too!

"I believe In the GOOD things Coming..."
