Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. Although Andy and I did not travel anywhere to spend it with family, we did have a wonderful time here in our little home. Andy's cousin Sue did travel to us and we hung out, had some drinks, and relaxed on the couch (I know kind-of uneventful).
Sue went snowboarding on Thursday up at Big Sky. Andy and I had the intentions to go also but the conditions were not good at all (and no we are not being picky or powder snobs). I think Sue made it up at big sky for about 3 maybe 4 hours, before she called it quits herself. I think her exact words were "this sucks," and that is coming from a flat lander, where anything is better than what you have in North Dakota :)
Andy and I decided to get out and enjoy the nice weather. We (and the 2 dogs) went and did a short little hike in Big Sky called Ousel Falls. It is a beautiful hike to amazing water falls.
We then came home. Andy cooked dinner for all of us. He states he spent "5 hours cooking." I did participate in this event also. He really does enjoy it, I think at one point in time he even said, "this is fun." Sue took a well deserved nap (yes, before turkey dinner itself).
I asked Andy what he is Thankful for on this Thanksgiving. This is a tradition that my Uncle Troy started. You have to go around the table and say what you are Thankful for. I am not sure that this tradition continues unless I am there. I told Andy he had to list 3 things, his answer: "My wifey, my wifey, and my wifey!" Ahh, sweet huh. I too am thankful for him. We are also thankful for many other things. We are thankful for our amazing and wonderful family and friends, our jobs, our home, our wonderful life that has been given to us, our dogs, the small and simple things in life that we both enjoy, and much more. We never asked Sue what she was Thankful for (sorry Sue), but I am sure her answers were a couch and a comfy Bed to sleep in, not driving anywhere for a day, and spending Thanksgiving with her 2 favorite Cousins, and taking a nap with the coolest dog :)
Here are a couple pics from Thanksgiving. Please take note; I know most have also heard November referred to as NovemBURR (which it is), but did you know it is also NovemBEARD? Take a look at Andy and his new look for the month, I love it.
