Frosty the Who?...

This past weekend Andy and I finally got to get out and enjoy our passion... Winter! All-though it is not here fully, we embraced what we have and loved every moment (my legs didn't feel the same). We went to Big Sky and snowboarded (or wait should I say "shredded it") both Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 3 & 4). While some may say there "wasn't enough snow," or "it's not worth it," We are glad to be back "enjoying the pow bro" (gotta get the lingo correct). Pray for Snow! XOXO

Frosty the Who? Lookin' Burly! "This guy can fix anything!"

"Is that Gretchen Ble.. wait Kelly Cla.. oh no it's Kellie Z!" Big Air yo!

Turkey For Me, Turkey For You...

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. Although Andy and I did not travel anywhere to spend it with family, we did have a wonderful time here in our little home. Andy's cousin Sue did travel to us and we hung out, had some drinks, and relaxed on the couch (I know kind-of uneventful).

Sue went snowboarding on Thursday up at Big Sky. Andy and I had the intentions to go also but the conditions were not good at all (and no we are not being picky or powder snobs). I think Sue made it up at big sky for about 3 maybe 4 hours, before she called it quits herself. I think her exact words were "this sucks," and that is coming from a flat lander, where anything is better than what you have in North Dakota :)

Andy and I decided to get out and enjoy the nice weather. We (and the 2 dogs) went and did a short little hike in Big Sky called Ousel Falls. It is a beautiful hike to amazing water falls.

We then came home. Andy cooked dinner for all of us. He states he spent "5 hours cooking." I did participate in this event also. He really does enjoy it, I think at one point in time he even said, "this is fun." Sue took a well deserved nap (yes, before turkey dinner itself).

I asked Andy what he is Thankful for on this Thanksgiving. This is a tradition that my Uncle Troy started. You have to go around the table and say what you are Thankful for. I am not sure that this tradition continues unless I am there. I told Andy he had to list 3 things, his answer: "My wifey, my wifey, and my wifey!"  Ahh, sweet huh. I too am thankful for him. We are also thankful for many other things. We are thankful for our amazing and wonderful family and friends, our jobs, our home, our wonderful life that has been given to us, our dogs, the small and simple things in life that we both enjoy, and much more. We never asked Sue what she was Thankful for (sorry Sue), but I am sure her answers were a couch and a comfy Bed to sleep in, not driving anywhere for a day, and spending Thanksgiving with her 2 favorite Cousins, and taking a nap with the coolest dog :)

Here are a couple pics from Thanksgiving. Please take note; I know most have also heard November referred to as NovemBURR (which it is), but did you know it is also NovemBEARD? Take a look at Andy and his new look for the month, I love it.
Family photo at the falls, Maddie loves us. Klyde was doing his own thing and missed the photo.

Ahh, how cute! Little Sue and her "Bestie."

It's a bird, It's a plane, It's a... Really big boat!

So after our amazing day instead of going on a honeymoon (it's the summer and we want to go somewhere tropical, plus Montana summer's are incredible) we decide (I) that we would go to Duluth, MN and venture along the North Shore. Andy had never been there and I thought it would be fun to be tourist in Minnesota. We headed up to Duluth on Monday the August 22nd. For many years my Dad and I would always go to Duluth for opening Snow Cross weekend, The Duluth National. Every year we stayed in Motel 6. Lets just say my Dad was known for picking the worst hotels ever! It was a on going joke if he could top the weekend before as for the worst hotel. So, when we got to Duluth Andy asked me if I knew where we should stay. :) I said sure "how about Motel 6, It's really cheap." Let's just say this is not where you stay when you are on a "mini-honeymoon." We got our hotel and then headed to Canal Park. Andy was immediately wondering why we weren't staying in Canal Park. We walked around, watched a huge ship come in (750+ feet long), and then ate dinner (note to self: Grandma's is not good). The next morning we woke up and it was rainy. We were going to get up early and go watch a huge ship come in but we were exhausted. We got coffee and then drove hwy 61 along the North shore (we had a little detour as I gave Andy the wrong directions). We stopped at Gooseberry Falls and hiked around there for a bit (this is no hike like the ones in Montana), then we headed to the Split Rock Light House. Andy loved this. It was really cool. We went in the Lighthouse and up to the top. It was beautiful. We can say that this is one place we could settle in if we were ever coming back to Minnesota. That night we stayed in Canal Park, (Really Andy, Your giving up on Motel 6? Hmm?) Our hotel was Awesome, huge! We ate an Amazing dinner (Andy says it was the best Fajitas he has ever had, and my Fish tacos were Amazing). After dinner we went on a carriage ride around Canal Park (ahh, How romantic). The next morning we got up early, may or may not have stopped in a tattoo parlor, and then headed to Strawberry Lake. For a Mini-Honeymoon, it was Amazing. We had a blast!

Huge ship, 750+ feet long!

Being a Minnesota Tourist!

The Beginning of the rest of our lives.

Hi, This is US. AZ, aka Kellie and Andy. I (Kellie) have decide to venture away from Facebook. Instead I have (or am trying) to create this blog. Here I will write about my (our) Journey's in life. Journey's as a couple, married, being thirty, or just random fun things in general. So, to start this blog I will post  a few pick from our latest and greatest change. On August 20, 2011 Andy and I tied the knot. All I can say for now is that it was the most perfect day ever. I will post more details later. For now here is the start of AZLIVINZ. Enjoy, follow as you wish.
