About a month ago my friend messaged me on facebook asking "have any of yours turned two yet?" I had to chuckle...my response, "none of mine are even 18 months yet!" Love it, classic!

My 3 Valentine's.
But, now they are. The twins turned 18 months on the 2nd of February. Little Miss Ziah just turned 5 months on Valentine's Day! I love it and love every moment with my kids. There are definitely trying moments, I am sleep deprived and tired everyday but it is so worth it. Call me crazy but, I am slightly obsessed with my kiddos and I think they are pretty Rad!
I continue to live in the moment, cherish that moment, and enjoy every little bit of the stage that we are in. I try my hardest to not wish for time to slow down but rather embrace where we are at a try my hardest to capture it all, and I certainly don't wish for it to go any faster.
I refer to myself as Mama Bear quite often. Mainly because of how protective I am of the kiddos, Andy may refer to me as mama bear due to my temper :/ But I feel even more like a Mama bear due to the amount of time I have spent indoors hibernated this winter trying to keep everyone but especially Zayne healthy. Whatever we are doing is working (knock on wood) so that makes it all worth it. Currently I am sitting at a coffee shop as our baby sitter is with the kids. I had nothing to do, but simply wanted to get out of the house. So I took advantage of it, left the house, with no where to go. Hmm... what to do? So here I sit blogging. Kind of makes me chuckle. Update: I started this blog two weeks ago... my knocking on wood didn't work as the 3 littles have been battling snotty noses, lets hope that's as far as it goes.
So 18 months... It's a fun stage. I love watching the twins and their creative minds. They both love hats and think they are so cool that they can put their own hats on. Zayne continues to be a wild man into everything and climbing everything. His new thing is climbing up on the table, we can't even have the chairs at the table. He is a destructive little bugger. He loves to throw and chuck anything in

his path. Recently he threw my awesome lamp off of the end table. I was so pissed I just cried. Miraculously it didn't break but crack all over, I guess it adds character. He is about 31" tall and weighs in at 20#. We finally hit the 20# mark.(At his 18 months appt he was 19# 15oz. and the appointment before that for synergis he was 20# 3oz) We are not talking yet, but him and Zoe will jabber back and forth. I should say that Zayne does continue to say "Ziah" here and there. His version of Ziah which we have come to love... "Za-Za." He loves his baths, loves to terrorize Klyde. He continues to steal everything from Zoe which usually starts a war. His recent new favorite (I may have created a monster) Andy was out of town last week. On friday it was about 60 degrees here in Bozeman. We went for a nice long walk and when we got home I let Zayne run around with out his oxygen on. I simply can't carry a baby and chase 2 around and carry his oxygen. Well now that is his new love, I don't blame him. Zayne also can give Knuckles now. One of his primaries at the U, Jace, use to always do knuckles with him. We never really practice knuckles with Zayne, other than when we get a text from Jace that says "give my buddy knuckles." One day two of my co-workers were here watching the kiddos. They asked Zayne for a "high-five" when they left, I told him "tell them you don't do high fives that we do knuckles." His face completely lit up like he remember or like "hey Mom, you know knuckles?" and he put his fist out and gave the girls knuckles. I am convinced he remembered.
Our current battle has been feedings. I can't even begin to say how frustrating g tubes are. (This is where I left off 2 weeks ago) I was about to go on a rant here about our frustartions. But, I need to remind myself one simple thing that Zayne has taught us... "it's on his time." When we have set backs or things aren't going quite right, I just need that reminder and to tell myself that it's on his time.

This Guy.
Little Miss Zoe. She is doing great. Our little Mama of the house. Loves taking care of everyone, getting pacifiers for the other two, making sure you have the diapers and wipes you need. And if someone is crying she is sure to go check and make sure everything is okay. Recently her and Zayne learned how to sign "dog." She doesn't have words yet either (which is frustrating as that results in screaming for what she wants.) but they are definitely aware of their surroundings and are able to sign or point to what they want. She loves (actually they both do) to show you her "Bee-boo" that is her belly-button in case you haven't read the Pookie books. Like I said she is a little Mama. One day I am changing Ziah's diaper and she comes and sits in my lap, pulls the tabs off herself, I get a wipe out to wipe her and then Zoe does the same and then hands me a diaper. Zoe weighed in at 20# 12 oz. (just when I thought Zayne's feedings weren't doing great or his weight, they continue to maintain the pound difference between the two... even less now) and she was 29 1/2 inches. None of the kids are big... neither are their parents. They are a bit on the short side also but as the Dr says, "someone's got to be at the bottom."

So beautiful, so sweet, so precious.
Ziah hit 5 months on the 14th. She weighed in at 13# 11 oz and her 4 month (nearly 5 month) visit and was 23 1/2inches long. She currently can still wear 3 month clothes because she is short. She could win an award for the smiley-est baby. She is so happy. She rolls over independently from back to tummy, we have yet to see tummy to back (she does this now, since it's now been a month since I started writing this blog), and she is working on sitting. She thinks her brother and sister are quite funny although they are not so funny when they wack her in the head with something. She is a good sleeper at night, she was sleeping through the night up until she got this little cold. Now she wakes up once in the early am. Even though I don't like getting up that early, I don't mind the snuggles. She is such a joy, and such a easy going baby.
What else for February? I can't believe it has taken me a month to write this blog, actually I can. Ron and Carolyn came to visit. It was good to have them here, have Ron get to finally meet Ziah, and have them play with the kiddos. I know they enjoyed it, and the kids loved horsey time :) Although Grandpa Ron's leg is a tad bit sore.
We had a trip plan to Utah but the air quality was horrible along with their RSV season, so that trip is on hold for now. We are planning to go back soon, maybe even check out some towns around their and houses.
I am sure there is much more I could write (most of which will come in other blogs) for now I just want to get this blog post...Finally. And, now there are 19 Months and 6 Months.
Good Night!
